Civil Engineer
Job Description
The Civil Engineer designs, plans, and oversees construction projects for Adekunle Ajayi and Company, ensuring structural integrity, safety, and adherence to project specifications.
Key Duties
- Develop engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for projects.
- Conduct site investigations and structural analyses for construction feasibility.
- Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with designs.
- Collaborate with architects, surveyors, and contractors on project execution.
- Ensure projects meet safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare progress reports and manage project timelines and budgets.
- Address technical issues and recommend solutions during construction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of civil engineering experience.
- Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro).
- Registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).
